The Fresh Air Fund is looking for families willing to host a city kid on their farm or at their rural home this summer. The end of July is nearing, and they still have about 200 children who need placement.

Maybe we could do a “Cultured Air” fund! Yeah, people from smaller communities without galleries, cool museums, cool theater, and ethnic food other than lutefisk get to visit someone in a city with all those things!
I’d be willing to be a test case!
(Really, this fund does seem like a good idea, but I bet a lot of our rural kids could use some exposure to city stuff! Well, and me…)

Sounds like Camp Bardiac would eb a great place to spend a summer. Assume there is biking as well…
