Artist Cathy Aten talks about how dealing with progressive MS has led her to a remakable place.
My whole process of being an artist has been a 30 year process of editing – What all can you take away and still have the essence of a thing? So, slowly my life is being edited down in the same way that my my art has become edited down – into exactly what is necessary and nothing more. And you know…What I need is a lot different than what I ever thought I needed. I like this person I’m becoming.
Inspirational.

As I have said before, bless people who don't shy away from a debilitating, progressive illness! Hats off to Cathy…and for your awareness. Well done.
Thank you Cathy for your wisdom.

Oh my. Cathy is so much more evolved than I am in her MS journey. It makes me feel ashamed. I don't like the person MS has made me, fearful and embarrassed.
She is inspirational, as is my dear friend Wheelchair Kamikaze.
Their grace in dealing with adversity is humbling.
